Everett, WA Parks - page 4
Marine
Park Rating: B
This park is right by the port’s boat launch. It’s very modern with views of the sound. Definitely a nice spot for a picnic, or resting before/after taking the public ferry to Jetty island.
North And South View
Park Rating: C
Grouping these together even though they’re technically two separate points. It’s a nice spot to relax and view the port from your car, but there’s not much to do here.
Phil Johnson Ballfields
Park Rating: B
Very modern ballpark facility, and some grassy areas with a playground. It’s very well kept up.
Riverside
Park Rating: C
This one is cute, but there’s really not much here. Just a park bench. At least it has some pillars to prevent cars from driving into you while you’re sitting on the bench.
Rotary
Park Rating: A
I just split my review with Lowell park since they’re connected. But Rotary has a boat launch; cool if you have a boat I’m sure.
Rucker Hill
Park Rating: B
Not very strong on paper but this park is a nice neighborhood and has a large green area. I don’t know why but it has a nice charm to it.
Senator Henry M Jackson
Park Rating: B
Very large park with ballfields. Also has some views if the weather is nice. I give it a stronger rating just because of the size of grassy area here.
South Everett Forest Preserve
Park Rating: B
Very nice trails through the woods. it even has some elevated sections with bridges. Definitely worth a visit for a hike. The entrance is inconspicuous, just at the end of a random street.
Summit
Park Rating: B
Nice grassy area with some benches overlooking I-5. Bonus points because it’s kinda funny how it overlooks I-5. If there’s traffic this would be an extra funny spot to visit.
Thorton A Sullivan
Park Rating: S
This one is S tier because of its numerous facilities, and beach-side access to Silver Lake. There’s grassy areas, BBQ/picnic spots, beach, playground, and more. And everything is new and modern. This one is definitely worth a visit.
